As Socrates makes clear in Xenophon’s Symposium, he “does not remember a moment of his life during which he was not in love.” This site is thus my take on the loves of my life. The music, the photos, the videos, the events, the reflections and my friends that shape, craft, sculpt, and further refine my loving. Welcome to this Symposium. During Socrates’ time, a symposium is Greek for a ‘drinking party’ with friends and acquaintances. If you’re going to discuss matters of the heart in ways that bear fruit, you should not seek a sterile environment or merely intellectualize. That environment to me is a coffee shop, where warmth is not just from the drink, but from one’s real friends.
